Athlete Details

We're looking forward to a Fa La La filled with ugly sweaters and awesome fitness!

We're looking forward to seeing you at Fa La La on December 7 in Westminster, CO! Here's all the details that you need for a safe and fun event, please read them all the way through!

Check your athlete details by looking it up. If you have any changes, you can do so by logging into RunSignup or emailing us. You can change your distance anytime up to 10 minutes before the distance starts.

Packet pickup and on-site registration

  • Early packet pickup is Thursday, 4:30-6:30p at Road Runner Sports, 10442 Town Center Dr #300, Westminster, CO 80021 click here for directions
  • Packet pickup and on-site registration opens race morning at 8:00a and closes (no exceptions):
    • Half marathon: 8:50a
    • 10K: 9:20a
    • 5K: 9:30a
  • You do not need an ID to pick up your packet, or the packet of your friend/spouse/etc. Just give us names!
  • There's still time for friends and family to sign up for the event!

Parking and directions

  • Directions: The Church Ranch Office Park is located at 10170 Church Ranch Wy in Westminster, CO. From US36 you'll go southwest on Church Ranch Blvd, then east on 103rd Ave and south on Church Ranch Wy to find the venue on the east side of the street. Click here for a map or to get directions.
  • Parking: Athletes & spectators will be asked to park in the lots north and east of the office building, or around of the office building across the street. Please do not park at the school, hotels, or bank, on the street, or behind the office building. Please see the parking map and follow all parking signs on race day.

Pre-race

  • The venue and expo will open at 8:00a
  • If you'd like to participate in the informal holiday-themed costume contest, make sure to get your picture taken at the awards tent pre-race (winner will be emailed)
  • We do have a gear check in the venue, next to meal. And we will collect items dropped on the course to return to the gear check (see more details below)
  • Our expo partners will be available for you pre-race and post-race

Toy Drive

  • Please join us in supporting A Precious Child's Precious Gift program by donating a new, unwrapped toy!
  • Bring toy donations to the registration tent before you run
  • Each person who donates a toy will receive a $10 coupon for a future All-Out event

Race starts

  • Bibs must be on your outer-most layer and visible
  • Please line up in the corral based on your expected pace (those going for the course record in the front to walkers in the back). We especially have a large number of half marathon athletes, so it's important that you self-sort in the corral appropriately to avoid having to pass/be passed a lot
  • Note that we will be using chip timing, so even if someone never passes you on the course, they may have a faster time
  • Start times. If you are late, you will be asked to downgrade distance or will not be allowed to run on course with a bib as part of the event (this is for your safety on course)
    • Half: start at 9:00a and by 9:05a
    • 10K: start at 9:30a and by 9:35a
    • 5K: start at 9:40a and by 9:45a

Course safety

  • This is a popular trail and we may be sharing the trail with many runners and cyclists. Use basic trail-sharing etiquette, and especially watch for cyclists whenever passing on the left
  • Ensure your bib is always visible and on your front, this is for your on-course safety and also for identifying photographs of you on course
  • Make sure you are familiar with your course and aid stations from our course details page. We have water, Gatorade, Gu energy gels, and Superganix CBD Relief Balm at every aid station
  • Make sure to view and download your course here
  • We have bright green course signs with blue arrows, course markings on the ground with bright green tape, and course volunteers at key locations to help guide you. You will be running on the concrete trail only, except a small section of soft surface for the half marathon athletes past Aid 5. Basically, unless there's a sign telling you to turn, never turn
  • We have orange discs to block where you shouldn't go. Don't go through, around, over, or past any orange disc, or you will be off-course
  • It is important if you choose to shorten your distance during the event, notify course volunteers as soon as possible and the timer as soon as you cross the finish line
  • You can drop items at any aid station, and we will attempt to get your items back to the venue as soon as possible and they will be at the Gear Check tent. If you cannot wait for your item, email after the event and we can mail your gear (with paid shipping) or hold it until your next event. Best practice: put your name in your gear
  • Dogs are loved as running partners! We have dog bowls at every aid station and the finish line, and dog treats at the meal tent. Make sure to use short leashes while on course. Be aware that the course is generally concrete, with soft shoulders starting after mile 2

Post-race

  • We will not have computers at the timing tent to look up results, be sure to sign up for results notifications or have a mobile device to look up your results with the QR codes posted in the venue or the one on your bib
  • We offer results notifications that will send your results straight to your phone, make sure to go to "Confirm my registration" above and sign up for notifications if you didn't do so when you registered
  • We offer FREE medal engraving for your medal keepsake!
  • Stop by the meal tent for post-race goodies, including fruit, warm breakfast burrito and cider, and chocolate milk (post-race goodies are for athletes only)
  • If you've run Fa La La before, make sure to stop back by the registration tent to get your brag tag!
  • Visit all of our wonderful partners in the expo
  • Use the coupon code on your bib by 12/14 to receive $5 off any and all events on the All-Out calendar

Award ceremony

  • Half marathon award ceremony: overall 10:45, division 11:15
  • 10K award ceremony: 10:45
  • 5K award ceremony: 10:15

Online photos and results

  • Online results, searchable and sortable, will be available during the event
  • Online photos, with free downloads, will be posted by Tuesday, 7p
